Q- Chinappa was convicted for torturing his wife for dowry. Satbir was held guilty of practicing untouchability. Then court did not allow either of them to contest elections. Does this decision go against the principles of democratic elections?
Answer- No this decision does not go against the principles of democratic elections because Chinappa and Satbir both had violated the Fundamental Duties which we have to follows as citizen. There are also serious criminal cases against them. So it is correct decision of court to restrict them from to contest elections.
