Q- Describe the policy of government in the field of education.

Answer- Due to bad or worse condition of education system f India the government had taken several steps to improve it as improved the education system of India. 

Some of the population schemes launched or introduced by India government to improve the governmental education system of India:

1. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyam:

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is a scheme launched by India government to provide elementary education to all children in the age group six to fourteen years by 2010. It is a time-bound initiative of the central government in partnership with the states, the local government and the community to achieve the goal of universalisation of elementary education. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan aimed to improve the education system in government schools. 

Back-to-school:

Many Bridge courses and back-to-school camps have been introduced to increase the enrollment in elementary education.

This scheme was started with some other policies such as mid-day meal scheme. This has been introduced to encourage attendance and retain children, as well as increase their nutritional status. 

Due to this scheme the children of age group below 14 years started going schools regularly. 

This type of policy of government could add to the literate population of Indian and further to the economic development.
