Answer- Xylem tissue is the part of vascular bundle. The xylem tissue is mainly responsible for transporting water and minerals to all other parts of the plant. The xylem tissue is mainly consisted of four parts. These are as follows:
1. Tracheids
2. Vessels
3. Xylem parenchyma
4. Xylem fibre
The tracheids and vessels are responsible for long range conduction of water and minerals.
The xylem parenchyma helps in storing material or works as storage.
The xylem fibre is responsible for providing mechanical support to the plant and tree.
