Answer- Losses occur in stored or storage grain because there are two main factors that affect the stored grain. These are biotic and abiotic factors. Due to these two factors the grain quality is regraded. The abiotic factors involves air and moisture and as we all know that moisture affects the grains a lot. On the other hand the biotic factors also affect the stored food grains a lot. In this way storing grains leads to loss.
