In what way does the outcome of elections matter to the people

Q- In what ways does the outcome of elections matter to the people?

Answer- The outcome of elections matters in many factors. If the elections are undemocratic so the outcome will be in favour of the powerful party or ruling party. And if the elections are held in free and fair manner so there would be equal chances of winning and losing of powerful or ruling party as compared to the other party.

In democratic election the chance of winning election of party increases when the candidate of that party is able to solve public needs and could satisfy them from his/her work.
