‘Japan has scarcity of resources at it is a developed and rich country’ describe briefly three steps that helped Japan to become a developed country

Q- ‘Japan has scarcity of natural resources yet it is a developed and rich country.’ Describe briefly three steps that helped Japan to become a developed country.

Answer- Japan is a developed as well as rich country even it has scarcity of resources but the main factors that prevent Japan from getting weak is that Japan had invested a lot in human capital to improve it. The Japanese government knows that investment in human capital via improving in medical care and education system would be very correct decision. In this case human capital refers to the human beings who are the only assert of country that are needed for each and every work.

The investment in human capital is same as investment in physical capital but the investment in human capital is more beneficial than physical capital in future. This is because when any government is investing a lot of money in human capital so the quality of their population got improved and in future that population becomes an assert for that particular nation.

Now according to the question the three steps that helped Japan to become a developed nation are given below: Education as well as health helps in the human capital formation by the following ways:

1. Japan specially focused to improve the medical care facility of the country to provide better health facility to all the citizens. This step helped Japanese government to make all the citizens healthy and provide proper health facility to each and every citizen.

2. Japanese government also focus to improve the education system of the country because they believes that if most of the people of country are properly educated so in future they will become an assert for the nation. So, the better educational facility in Japan also helped them to improve their human capital.

3. The third and most important step that Japanese government follows to makes Japan a developed country even having scarcity of resources is that they do not only provide theoretical knowledge to student but instead of it they taught them practically and also includes development of skills of student to made them successful.

At last I would like to give a advice to every government that the government of every country should do some investment in human capital in the form of improving education as well as health status. The education system and health care facility should be improved in every country so that everyone should get proper education and health care facility. Nowadays several developed as well as developing countries are regularly investing money in human capital to improve the quality of human capital. As they know that in future this human capital becomes backbone of the nation and work as assert for country.
