3. It lays down limits on the powers of the government of that country and also tells the basic fundamental rights of citizens of that country.

4. Constitution generates a degree of trust and coordination that is necessary for different kind of people to live together.

5. It specifies how the government will be constituted and various powers to take various decisions will be allotted to whom.
