Answer- The primary and basic characteristic on which organisms are divided is on the basis of the kind of cells they are made of because the organisms are on the basic of their cell eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. The cells having diffused nucleus are called as prokaryotic cell and the cells having all well defined cell organelles and a true nucleus is called as eukaryotic cell.
