Answer- There is two main factors which are responsible for the distribution of plants and animals in India. These are:
1. Relief: Relief consists of Land and soil.
2. Climate: Climate contains Temperature, Humidity, Photoperiod and Precipitation.
3. What is a bio-reserve? Give two examples?
3. An ecosystem with plants and animals of unusual scientific and natural interest is called as bio-reserve. There are 14 bio-reserves in India. For example: Sunderbans Bio-reserves in West Bengal and Nanda Devi Bio-reserve in Uttaranchal.
4. Name two animals having habitat in different type of vegetation.
4. The two main categories of animals having habitat in different type of vegetation are:
1. Tropical animals: Tiger, Elephant
