What would have been the climate of India if the Himalayas were not in existence along the northern borders of India

Q- What would have been the climate of India if the Himalayas were not in existence along the Northern Borders of India?

Answer- India has Himalayas located at the northern most point of Indian border. It is an arc like structure at the border of India which has an average height of 6000 metres. The Himalaya prevents the cold winds from Central Asia to enter India. The Himalayas also works as barrier for South West monsoon winds, which cause rainfall in Northern Plains so if there is no Himalayas in India so the temperature of India becomes irregular and cold as of whole Asia and there will be no more rainfall in India and no river will be perennial as Himalayas also works as barrier for South West monsoon winds, which cause rainfall in Northern Plains.
