Q- Discuss the major reasons of poverty in India?
Answer:- The major reasons for poverty in India are:-
· There is very low source of economic development during British rule they have destroyed most of the Indian factories this lead to increase in level of unemployment.
· India experience a high growth in population level and very low growth in source of economic development due to which many people are unemployed and haven’t any source of income. This also increase poverty level in India.
· Many of the people in India are illiterate and do not know how to do or grow the business many people want to send their children to schools to make them literate but due to very low income they are unable to do that and there are also people who don’t want to send their children to schools and don’t want ro make them literate because they think education is just a waste of time this factor also increase the poverty level in India.
