Why secondary immune response is faster than primary immune response

Q- Why secondary immune response is faster than primary immune response?

Answer- It is absolutely right that secondary immune response is faster than primary immune response because secondary immune response takes place when antigen of same disease that entered in our body previously entered inside body again. In this case the secondary immune response take action and started generating antibodies from the structural data available of that antigen. As that antigen has been killed by antibodies in our body previously so in secondary immune response it becomes very easy for our body to defend against that antigen.

On the other hand the primary immune response take place when our body is defending against any antigen for the first time so it becomes difficult for primary immune response to defeat that antigen. That is why secondary immune response is faster than primary immune response.

The above answer is sufficient to answer the above question if you want to learn more about the basic differences between secondary immune response and primary immune response in little detail so you can read the paragraph given below. Otherwise you can note down the above answer as it is enough to answer the given question. First of all we are talking about primary immune response and after it we will talk about secondary immune response. So read them one by one.

Primary Immune ResponseIn Primary Immune Response a huge exposure occur in which no anti bodies are produced or generated inside the body. But only the activating B cells started differentiating into plasma cells. The amount of antibodies that are produced to defeat the antigen in primary immune response is usually low as compared to  antibodies that are produced to defeat the antigen in secondary immune response. The first anti bodies that are produced in primary immune response are IgM along with IgM, IgG are also produce but in small amount.

Secondary Immune Response: In Secondary Immune Response starts with the formation of antibodies from the structural data available of that antigen. As that antigen has been killed by antibodies in our body previously so in secondary immune response it becomes very easy for our body to defend against that antigen. The lag phase in Secondary Immune response is very low. In t the amount of antibodies generation increase with time and that antibodies reached a very big numbering. The main type of antibody that is produced in Secondary Immune Phase is IgG and along with IgG IgM are also generated in a small amount. It is just opposite case of Primary Immune Response.
