Answer- The urbanization and industrialization cause river pollution as due to increase in demand of water for Industrial, Municipal, Agricultural, domestic as well as commercial purposes due to this increased demand the quantity of water in rivers decreased and the industries and factories split or release their residue in river and other water bodies this causes river pollution. That is why urbanization and industrialization cause river pollution.
The three measures to control river pollution are as follows:
1. We should not release or throw chemical residue of factories and Industries in River and other water bodies.
2. Do not throw plastic, garbage and waste in water bodies.
3. People should not bath their animals and wash clothes in water bodies.
