Q- Give a brief description of the Himalayan Mountains.
Answer- The Himalayas are young and structurally fold mountains stretch over the northern border of India. These Himalayas work as a natural barrier to prevent other country from entering the border of India. The Himalayas are divided into three parallel ranges which has their own specialties. The mountain ranges run in a west-east direction from the Indus to Brahmaputra. The Himalayas are loftiest and one of the most rugged mountain barriers of the world. They form an arc, which covers a distance of 2400 Kms.
