1. For the first time, they introduced a Centralised Planning on the basis of which Five year Plans were made.
2. Russia became a one-party state and Trade unions kept under party control.
3. The Bolsheviks party was renamed as The Russian Communist Party.
4. New uniforms were introduced in the army and officials by the Bolsheviks to assert the change.
5. There was a ban in using old titles like aristocracy.
6. In cities the large houses were partitioned according to the family requirements.
7. As land was declared social property, the peasants were allows to take-over the land on which they worked.
8. The Bolsheviks were not in favour of any private property. Therefore all the industries and banks were nationalized.
