Answer- On the basis of utility the cattle are mainly divided into three categories. These are as follows:
1. Milch breeds: The cows of Milch breed are highing milk producing. These cows are mainly reared or milk production purpose as they produce high quantity milk. The lactation period of Milch breed of cows is more than normal cows.
2. Draught breeds: Draught breed of cows are used for work. The cows and buffaloes of Draught breed do not produce milk in big quantity so that these breed is used for labour as they have high power and are healthy enough to do this so.
3. Dual purpose breeds: The cows and buffaloes of Dual purpose breed are used for dual purpose they are reared ort milk production as well as they are used for labour support.
