Answer:- according to the scientific theory of tectonic plates the giant landmass called PANGEA whose northern part was known as the Angara land the southern part is known as the Gondwana land. The earth crust was divided into number of pieces
due to convectional currents, resulting in the drifting of Indo – Australian plates after being separated it get collision and the sedimentary rocks get folded upward that result in formation of mountain called Himalayas.
