Q- Differentiate between Kharif and Rabi crops.
Answer- There are several difference between Rabi and Kharif crops but the main differences are as follows:
1. The Kharif crops are sown at the beginning of the rainy season while the Rabi crops are sown at the end of monsoon or rainy season.
2. The Kharif crops are sown between April to May whereas the Rabi crops are sown between September and October.
3. The Kharif crops requires lots of water as well as hot weather to grow properly while the Rabi crops require cold climate.
4. Some of the Kharif crops are: Jowar, rice, maize e.t.c. on the other hand some of the Rabi crops are: Wheat, gram, barley e.t.c.
