Q- How are council of ministers categorised?

Answer- The council of minister includes all the ministers of country that is why it is called as the council of ministers.

The council of ministers is classified into three major categories:

1. Ministers of States: These are the ministers of different states of a country. They are attached to and are required to assist the Cabinet Ministers.

2. Cabinet Ministers: The Cabinet Ministers are usually top-level leaders of the ruling party. These are also the in-charge of the major ministries. Generally the cabinet ministers meet to the council of ministers to take decision.

3. Ministers of States with Independent Charge:

This includes the state ministers which are usually in charge of small ministries. They cannot attend the cabinet meetings until they are not invited.
