Answer- Yes it is absolutely rights that freedom of speech and expression is one of the essential features of our democracy because of the following reasons:
1. Citizen’s ideas or personality develop only when they are able to freely communicate with others. Even if hundred people think in one way , you should have the freedom to think in different and express your views according to it.
2. Right to speech and expression is one f the fundamental right that is why it is necessary for as democracy.
3. Right to speech and opinion is necessary because of you are not agree with policy of government so you are free to criticize the government your conversation.
4. In a democratic country be every citizen should have right to speech and expression and no one should be denied from this rights so that is why freedom of speech and expression is one of the essential features of our democracy.
