How did pastoralists adapt to new times

Q- How did pastoralists adapt to new times?

Answer- The pastoralists were the people who mainly rear their cattle to earn their livelihood but they were of ancient time adaptation and by the passing of time, they had to adapt in new times.

So the pastoralists adapt to new time by several ways. Some of them are as follow:

1. Pastoralists are not relics of the past. They are not people who have no place in the modern world.

2. Environmentalists and economists increasingly came to recognise that pastoral nomadism was a form of life that was perfectly suited to many hilly and dry regions of the world.

3. Pastoralists changed the path of their annual movement. They reduced their cattle number, pressed for the right to enter areas, exerted political pressure on the government for relief and subsidy and demanded a right the management of forests and water resources.
