· Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act of 2005 in which rural households get 100 days assured employment every year in 200 districts.

· The national government will also establish National Employment Guarantee Funds. Similarly state government also has established State Employment Guarantee Funds for the scheme.

Another scheme is also launches as National Food For Work Programme It was launched in 2004 in 150 most backward districts of the country, it is government scheme under which food grains are provided to the poor people who want to do any unskilled work in free of cost
