Q- Name any two endangered species of Indian wildlife and write one point each on Project Tiger and Project Rhino.
Answer- The two endangered species of Indian wildlife are:
Tiger and Rhino.
1. The Project Tiger has been set up with a great success and has been observed in Jim Corbett Park and West Bengal with this project, Indian Wildlife Department is able to save the number of tiger in India.
2. Project Rhino reserves are in Kaziranga and Manas National Park respectively. This one-horned Rhino prefers to live in the swampy and marshy areas of Assam and Northern part of West Bengal.
These two are the major projects launched by the Wildlife Department of India to conserve them as at the time there is a huge hunting of Tigers and Rhino. This leads to the decrement in numbering of these two species and at last these species are added in stage of Endangered Species.
