Q- There are many similarities in the way in which the modern world forced changes in the lives of the pastoral communities in India and East Africa. Write about any two examples of changes which were similar for Indian pastoralists and the borders.

Answer- We all know that are many similarities in the way in which the modern world forced changes in the lives of the pastoral communities in India and East Africa but the main two changes which were similar for Indian pastoralists and the borders are as follows:

1. Their traditional pasturelands were taken from them and they were strictly restricted from grazing their cattle there. This all was done through passing an Act. According to which certain areas were reserved forests and no one could enter in them.

2. The pastoralists were forced out of many pastures in the name of expansion of cultivation.
