Q- What are the different ways of increasing production on the same piece of land? Explain.
Answer:-
· To grow more than one crop on the piece of land during the year is known is multiple cropping
· All the vacant land should be cultivated
· On the kharif season or on monsoon farmers can grow bajra and jowar and between October and December farmers can grow potato
· In the winter season rabi fields can be sown with wheat and the left of the land can be sown with sugarcane
· For all these varieties of crops a better irrigation system should be required that can be perform with the help of tube wells
