Q- What are the various irrigation systems adopted in India?
Answer- Irrigation is the process of watering or providing water to plants or crop. It is very necessary to provide nutrients to crops in form of irrigation by water. That is why irrigation is very necessary for crop otherwise without it the crop could not grow and leads to loss of farmer.
In India there are several sources of water for irrigation but mainly it is of five types:
1. Canal system

5. River lift system
