Q- What do you know about the Estate General?
Answer- The Estate General was a political body where the representatives of all three estate collect for voting for any decision making process.
In france of old regime, the monarch do not have the right to impose taxes to any estate without consulting from them. Also he call out a meeting in Estate General to pass any proposal regarding any particular topic. However it was the monarch alone who could call out meeting in this body.
