what happened to the poor after the enclosure movement

Q- What happened to the poor after the enclosure movement?

Answer- After the enclosure movement the poor could no longer collect their basic need of their livelihood such as- berries, fruits, vegetables and firewood. They could no longer gather the stalks that lay on the fields after the harvest. The poor were displaced from their lands and fenced the area after enclosing it. Some of them moved to the southern countries of England, where there was a great demand for agricultural labourers.
