Q- What was ‘A Scorched Earth Policy’?
Answer- It is a policy set up by Dutch in Java, just before the Japanese occupied the region. It was called as ‘A Scorched Earth Policy’ that destroyed Sawmills and burning huge piles of giant teak logs they that they would not fall into Japanese hands.
