Answer- Drafting Assembly is a group of people who collectively work to draft constitution for their country. The members of this assembly are elected through elections that were held in July 1946. Its first meeting was held in December 1946 when the country was partitioned into India and Pakistan, the constituent assembly was also divided into the Constituent assembly of India and that of Pakistan. The drafting assembly of India is formed of 299 members. It was chaired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
