Answer- Acute diseases are those diseases that have a short term and are with severe symptoms whereas the diseases that have long term effects on human health are called as chronic diseases. Some of the examples of chronic diseases are: Elephantiasis and TB.
According to the studies the chronic diseases are found to be more serious because it is long lasting and has major ill effects on person.
