Q- Why did the landlords pressurise the British Parliament to pass the Enclosure Act?

Answer- During that time, France was at war with Britain, which disrupted trade and import of food grains in England that leads to increase in price of food grains. So, to take advantage of this situation rich farmers starting enclosing land to increase production to earn large profit. For this they pressurize British Parliament to pass Enclosure Act.
