Q- Why do some rights need to be placed higher than the government?
Answer- The rights need to be placed higher than the government because things may go wrong when anyone violates rights of someone. Thus generally happens when the majority wants to dominate in the minority. In this case it is government responsibility to prevent violation of rights of citizens.
The rights are needed to be placed higher than the government to prevent the chances of violation of citizen’s rights by majority or government or any government official. So to prevent chances of this situation rights need to be placed higher than the government.
