Q- Why do we irrigate our crops?

Answer- Irrigation is the process of watering or providing water to plants or crop. It is very necessary to provide nutrients to crops in form of irrigation by water. That is why irrigation is very necessary for crop otherwise without it the crop could not grow and leads to loss of farmer.

It is necessary to irrigate our crop because of the following reasons:

1. To provide adequate amount of water to plant for process of photosynthesis.

2. Irrigation provides the two main nutrients to plant hydrogen as well as oxygen.

3. Irrigation maintains soil moist and promotes growth of root in soil.
