1. There is a availability of different types of soil facilitates base for different type of vegetation.
2. There is a variation in the climatic condition of India. It differs from north to south and east to west. Thus, supporting large variety of flora and fauna.
3. India is a diverse country with various relief features such as mountains, plateaus, plains e.t.c. . These regions consists of different types of vegetation which support different types of Animals.
4. India has a monsoon type of climate where rainfall varies from 20 cms to 300 cms distributed throughout the year supporting large amount of flora and fauna.
5. Variations in the duration of sunlight at different place due to difference in the latitude and altitude.
