Q- why is endocytosis found in animals only?
Answer:- endocytosis is possible only when cell membrane is directly in contact with food and other substances to engulf them. In plants, external to plasma membrane, cell wall is present. So plant cells cannot go for endocytosis. It occurs only in animal cell, due to absence of cell wall.
