Answer- Binomial nomenclature is the process of providing scientific names to the organisms. It can be formed of two words: Generic name and Specific name.

These are a set of specific rules to be followed for binomial nomenclature. These are as follows:

1. The Generic name must start with the “Capital letter”.

2. The name should be printed in Italic or separately underlined whenever it is written or typed.

3. It should be uniformly implemented.

4. The specific name must start with the “small letter”.

There are several benefits or significances of the binomial nomenclature of the entire organism in the world. According to question some of the significances of binomial nomenclature are as follows:

1. The Binomial nomenclature solved or fixed the problem of multiple naming of common names.

2. The Binomial nomenclature also indicates the evolutionary significance.

3. The Binomial nomenclature provided a specific or different name to entire organisms in the world.
