Answer- Reserved Constituencies refer to some reserved seats in constituencies for SCs and STs so that people of this class can engage fast in political body. Reserved Constituencies were created by the makers of constitution as they think that in an open electoral competition, certain weaker section may not stand a good chance to be elected to the Lok Sabha and the State Legislative Assemblies.
