Q- Describe why the Konkani peasants welcome the dhangars?

Answer:-

· During the month of October dhangars harvested their bajra crop and start migrating to west

· After a march they reach konkan

· There was a very good agriculture area having a good rainfall and better

· Shepherds an peasents welcomed by Konkani peasants

· After the harvest of kharif crop the field was again getting fertilized for the harvest of ravi crop

· Dhangars used to manure the fields

The konkan peasants’ also give rice to shepherds which they took back to plateau where grain was scarce
