4. The East Flowing Rivers forms deltas as they carry greater amount of water.

5. The East Flowing Rivers have greater number of tributaries.

The West Flowing Rivers:

1. This include only two major rivers that are- Narmada and Tapi.

2. The West Flowing Rivers drains in the Arabian sea.

3. The West Flowing Rivers carries lesser amount of water as compared to east flowing rivers.

4. The West Flowing Rivers do not forms deltas as they carry lesser amount of water.

5. The West Flowing Rivers have lesser number of tributaries.
