Answer- Composite fish culture is a novel as well as intensive type of fish farming in which many species of fishes (about 5 to 6 species) are cultivated together simultaneously in a water body. The fish for cultivation is selected according to their different feeding habits. Composite fish culture is also called as polyculture.

There are several benefits of composite fish culture. Some of the advantages of compsite fish culture are as follows:

1. Due to explosion of all the economic zones the yield of fish farming gets increased.

2. Due to cultivation of many species fishes together they help each other in growth.
