Q- Differentiate between active and passive citizens.
Answer- Active citizens:-
Only man above 20 years of age who paid taxes to atleast 3 days of a labourer’s wage were given the status of active citizens. Only the had to right to vote.
Passive citizens:-
The remaining men including all women of france who were not entitled to vote were called as passive citizens
