Q- Explain reasons why Russian people wanted the Tsar to Withdraw from the World War?
Answer- In Russia, the war was initially popular and people agreed to Tsar Nicholas’ policies. The First World War from the Eastern Front was differing from that of Western Front. In the West armies fought from trenches along eastern France.
In the east, armies fought battles with the large casualties. Defeats were shocking and demoralising. As German armies further moved, the army of Russia destroyed or fired crops and building to prevent enemy enter in their area easily. Destruction or firing of crops and building cause a very big loss to Russian government. Every soldier did not like to fight in such a war.
