Q- From where does river Krishna originates and name its tributaries?

Answer- The Krishna river is about 1400 Km in length. It originates from a spring near Mahabaleshwar. The main tributaries of the River Krishna are: Bhima, Musi, Ghatprabha, Koyna and Tungabhadra. 

The Krishna basin is shared by the parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Mahrashtra.
