Q- List the properties of Nervous tissue.
Answer- Nervous tissue is a kind of compound animal tissue that is responsible for all the major function in the animal body. The brain especially of mammals is formed of neuron. Nerve cell or neuron is the basic unit of brain. Nerve cell is the tissue which is responsible for conduction of impulses in animals.
The Neuron has mainly two types of nerve processes. These are as follows:
1. Axon
2. Dendron
Both Axon and Dendron are responsible for conducting nerve impulse in animal body.
