1. On the East there are narrow coastal strips which are running along the Arabian sea on the west and the Bay of Bengal in east.
2. In the eastern coast Chilika lake is located which is the largest lake in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan.
3. The western coast of India is sandwiched between the western Ghats and Arabian sea.
4. The plain that are along with Bay of Bengal are wide and level.
