Q- What are the main reasons for the ineffectiveness of poverty alleviation programmes?
Answer- Indian government had launched several poverty alleviation programmes to reduce poverty but these steps became ineffective due to several reasons.
Some of the main reasons for the ineffectiveness of poverty alleviation programmes are as follows:
1. In anti-poverty programmes there is a lot of lack of proper implementation and right targeting.
2. The money or budget sent by government for the help of poor does not reach to the poor. The middle men decrease the amount and take some for him.
3. The government officials were not working properly. Most of the staff of government offices are very lenient.
