Q- What are the three types of plate movement on the Earth?
Answer- The three main types of plate movement on the Earth are as follows:
1. Converge boundary:
When some plates moves toward each other or get converged so, they form a convergent boundary. It may also be called folding movements.
2. Divergent boundary:
When some plates moves away from each other or get diverged so, they form a Divergent boundary. It may also be called faulting movements.
3. Transform boundary:
When some plates moves and may either collide and crumble or may slide under the other plates and form a boundary that are called as transform boundary. These boundaries forms in very rare cases but this movement is most important of all the three movements of plates of Earth crust.
So, These are the three main types of plate movements on the Earth.
