Q- What do you know about ‘Theory of Plate Tectonics’?
Answer- The scientists had researched and found that all the continents that we see today in Global are a part of a huge landmass which was separated or disrupted due to their movement and these plates sub divided into these continents.
This research is called as ‘Theory of Plate Tectonics’. According to this theory, the crust or the upper layer of the Earth has been formed out of seven major and some minor plates which moves continuously and sometimes they clashes and results in folding, faulting and other volcanic activities.
