Answer- Semiautonomous organelles are those cell organelles that contain complete machinery for protein synthesis (especially DNA, RNAs, ribosomes and ATP molecules). Mitochondria and plastids are the semiautonomous cell organelles. So they had enough resources to prepare one protein of their own.
